How to Get to Bolivia

The fastest way to get to Bolivia is to fly into El Alto Airport (La Paz) or Santa Cruz Viru Viru Airport. There are also various land border entries from Peru, Chile and Brazil.

Do I need a Visa to Enter Bolivia?

Depending which country you are from, you may need a tourist visa to enter Bolivia. Visa requirements for all countries are divided into three visa groups:

Group 1: No visa required for entry, usually allowing a stay up to 90 days per calendar year.

Group 2: Visa required which can be organised in your home country or obtained on arrival for a fee.

Group 3: Visa required which MUST be organised in your home country prior to travel to Bolivia.
